The elusive yair99 (currently bunked on a trailer on some beach AFAIK) will join us if he can.

A hands-on workshop where we'll learn how to start using Git - the popular version control system - to manage joint work on a specific project. We'll also learn how to use Github to make collaboration easier. Workshop will cover both the standard command line project, as well as OS-specific graphic clients made by Github.

Advanced git flows can be covered by request.

Prerequisites: please try to setup Git (and/or the Github clients) in advance. Follow https://help.github.com/articles/set-up-git for instructions. If you get lost, no worries, we'll cover installation during the workshop.
